Day 139 - Evening at the Terwillegar Dog Park

This 460 acre park is located in the North Saskatchewan River valley of Southwest Edmonton. Originally operating as a ranch, it was acquired by the city in 1964. There are a multitude of trails to choose from, ranging from easy gravel double-track to technical, rooty singletrack above sheer drops into the river. This is an excellent area for exploring as there are too many trails to use in just one day. Terwillegar park is an offleash dog park, so expect to see a lot of puppies, although they generally tend to stay in the open meadow area and off the trails.

Day 136 - Reunion
Me and my mom- Ember
Zero G's Crash- My sister.
I met up with my parents at the off leash doggie park near downtown Edmonton.
I saw firsthand why mom Ember is on Team Canada,
considered an elite of the elite of Canadian disc dwags.
My dad (RipTide) and my energetic sister (Crash) were also there.
I walked with the clan to touch base.
By the end of the night, I was no longer the puds. I was the smuds, toughened up and
tired out.
In a houseful of toddlers and pets, you can start out having a bad day,

Day 132 - Pushed into the River
So I was minding my own puddle,
enjoying the sounds and smells of the
river valley. Keeping it cool with
my human pack leaders.
I was dry and content in the woods....
until a b/w spotted border collie male and
a golden retriever male, both adult, approx.
60 to 80 pounds... pack mentality ....
body checked me into the river!
Im calling neighbourhood watch on those bullies!

Day 127 - Rain drops falln' on my head
Has not rained in months. since October 2010 when the first winter snow fall had arrived.Hopefully my fur coat holds up :P
